• Dmytro Boyarchuk

  Executive Director, CASE Ukraine

  Dmytro Boyarchuk is currently the executive director of CASE Ukraine. A leading expert in macroeconomic forecast and fiscal policy in the country, Dmytro possesses extensive experience in offering professional economic policy consultation to governmental institutions both in Ukraine and abroad. Furthermore, he has proactively headed a number of public-private initiatives aimed at macroeconomic, fiscal, and pension reform in Ukraine. His policy analysis and economic expertise regularly feature in media publications throughout the country. Dmytro holds a master’s in economics from the Kyiv School of Economics.

  

  

• Yevghen Shulgha

  Director for Development, CASE Ukraine

  Yevghen has an MPA from the George Washington University (Washington DC) with a nonprofit management concentration, and an MBA from the International Science and Technology University in Kyiv. Before studying in the U.S., Yevghen worked as a communications and organization development manager at the Razumkov Center. While in DC, Yevghen studied the work of the leading U.S. think tanks. In his opinion, American think tanks better serve the needs of their society due to the tight relationships they maintain with their individual donors and better awareness of their interests. Same principles make the foundation of Yevghen's work at the Price of the State.

  

  

• Vladimir Dubrovskiy

  Senior Economist, CASE Ukraine

  In addition to working as a senior economist at CASE, Volodomir is currently serving as an adviser to the head of the Verkhovna Rada’s parliamentary committee on small businesses and entrepreneurial, regulatory, and anti-trust policy. His research interests lie primarily in institutional economics and political economy, with a particular focus on the issues of privatization, corruption, and economic reform. Volodomir has previously worked with institutions such as the World Bank, UNDP, GDN, and the OECD, as well as taken part in international technical assistance programs to the governments of Azerbaijan and Moldova. The author of a book on the transformation of Ukraine’s economy, he has assisted in drafting and implementing a number of government programs. He holds a degree in theoretical physics from the Taras Shevchenko Kiev University.

  

  

• Natalia Leschenko

  Economist, CASE Ukraine

  Natalia, an Economist with CASE, possesses substantial experience in the field of economic policy making. In particular, she has both managed and taken part in a number of research projects aimed at improving budgetary practices and social welfare in Ukraine. Among these projects were initiatives for fiscal transparency, financing for education and healthcare, reform of government policy towards entrepreneurs, welfare reform, state and local budgetary monitoring, and the creation of a unified tax code in Ukraine. Moreover, whilst working to implement the above initiatives, she collaborated with such organizations as the World Bank, ETF, and USAID. Natalia received her master’s in economic theory from the Economic Education and Research Consortium, a division of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

  

  

• Mykola Malukha

  Head of Online Communications

  Mykola is in charge of online communications, including promotion through social media, media relations, and coordination of volunteers. He is an expert in social media marketing as well as in Internet election and the advocacy campaigns. He has an experience in online mobilizations and coaching journalists, bloggers, and activists in the area of on-line communications. Mykola is a former business media journalist, a press secretary for the International Foundation Caritas Ukraine, and a head of Online communications at mining-and-metallurgical Group of companies METINVEST. He graduated in History from the Murmansk State Pedagogical University and completed the Digital Future of Journalism Program at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
